These terms apply to every order placed on aluglass2000.co.za. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them. Please also read our Refund and Returns Policy and our Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

2. Our products
We manufacture aluminium windows, doors and shopfronts in our own Klerksdorp workshop. Product descriptions, sizes, frame colours and glass options are shown on each product page and explained in our Buying Guide.
Photographs show the style of a product. Powder-coat colours can look slightly different on screen than in person.
Most products are made to order to the size, colour and glass you select. Please check your selection carefully before you pay.
3. Prices
All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT at 15%.
Delivery costs are not included in product prices. The delivery cost for your address is calculated from your postal code and shown at checkout before you pay.
Installation is not included in any product price. It is quoted separately on request.
We check prices carefully, but if a price on the website is clearly wrong, we will contact you before processing your order. You may then accept the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order, you will receive an automatic email acknowledging it. This is not yet acceptance. Your order is accepted once your payment has reflected in our account and we have confirmed the order with you.
We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or the specification cannot be manufactured. If we decline an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
5. Payment
Payment is by EFT (bank transfer). Our banking details are shown after checkout and in your order email. Please use your order number as the payment reference.
Manufacturing starts once your payment has reflected in our account. If payment has not reflected within 7 days of placing the order, we may cancel the order.
We do not store card details. If card payments are added in future, they will be processed by a third-party payment provider using encrypted, secure connections.
6. Measurements and specifications
Unless we carried out the site measure, you are responsible for the sizes and specifications you order. We manufacture to the sizes you give us.
South African building regulations require safety glass in certain positions. If you are unsure whether your opening needs safety glass, ask us before ordering.
For non-standard openings, we recommend booking a site measure before ordering.
7. Lead times
Stock items are available immediately. Made-to-order items are generally ready within two to four working days after payment reflects, depending on quantity. Larger orders may take longer, and we will confirm the expected date when we accept your order.
Lead times are estimates. We will let you know as soon as possible if there is a delay.
8. Delivery and collection
We deliver with our own vehicles. At checkout you can choose delivery or collection, depending on your postal code:
- Klerksdorp area: free delivery.
- Surrounding areas and Gauteng: delivery at the fee shown at checkout.
- Other areas in South Africa: collection from our Klerksdorp workshop, or contact us for a delivery quote.
- Collection: free from our workshop at 49 Commissioner Street, Klerksdorp, once we tell you your order is ready.
We will arrange a delivery date with you. Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive and inspect the goods, and there must be safe access for our vehicle. If a delivery fails because no one is available or the site is not accessible, we may charge for a second delivery.
Please inspect your order on delivery or collection and note any visible damage on the delivery note before signing. Report damage within 24 hours with photographs, as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.
We deliver within South Africa only.
9. Ownership and risk
Goods remain our property until paid for in full. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered to your address or collected from our workshop.
10. Cancellations, returns and warranty
Cancellations, returns, refunds and warranty terms are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy.
In summary: made-to-order goods are excluded from the general right of return and the ECTA cooling-off period, but your rights for faulty, defective or incorrect goods always apply.
11. Installation
Installation is available on request, mainly in the North West and Gauteng, and is quoted separately. Installation work is governed by the written quotation we give you together with these terms.
12. Your records
You will receive an order confirmation by email. If you create an account, you can view your order history under My Account. We keep order records for 5 years, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of income or delays to a building project, arising from the supply of our products. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under the CPA, or liability for our gross negligence.
14. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, email sales@aluglass2000.co.za and we will try to resolve it quickly. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
